FAILURE

When we talk about failure, many people see it as a negative or bad omen, many see it as the opposite of success. But there is more to failure than we ever imagined.
In my studies, I have come to define failure to literally mean try again later or another time. Failure is not the opposite of success but a process in the pursuit of success.
Winston Churchill defines success as going from one failure to another without loss of enthusiasm.
Just as Thomas. J. Vilord said;
"Keep on trying........each failure is one step closer to success"
I have heard many people saying that experience is the best teacher but I say failure is the best and most effective teacher. Failure does not mean it is over, it only means that you do better next time.
The most intriguing fact about failure is that we are permitted to fail but not fall, anytime we fail we learn from it and move on. The one thing I have learnt about failures is the fact that they usually emerge as great men/women after they have learnt from their failure. Thomas Edison one of the greatest inventors of our time who had about 1000 inventions said that he was one of the greatest failures in humanity, most of his inventions were done after many attempted failures, he even said he have not failed but have only found 10,000 ways that won't work when he was trying to invent the light bulb.
Mickey Rooney once said;
"You always pass failure on the way to success"
Just a minute of success pays for many years of failure.
Failure is a part of life that you have to live with and learn from. The most successful men in life have been the worst failures.
Even Michael Jordan the greatest Basketball player ever was once cut from his high school team, as he had missed 9,000 shots in his career, lost 300 games, He said: i have failed over and over and over again in my career and that is why I succeed".
Even Albert Einstein who was regarded as a genius at a time in his childhood had speech difficulties, he was even suspected to be mentally handicapped. He even tried to test into the Zurich Polytechnic but failed but he was finally accepted. He was awarded a Nobel prize for physics and began to be regarded as a genius of our modern era.
All these great people had one point in lives failed as many times as possible, but they learnt from their failures and exploited it as an opportunity to achieve success.
Failure is an obstacle that can demoralise a weak mind but it takes determination and commitment to overcome failures and obstacles.
Most success in life springs from an obstacle or failure.
